The month of March ended in an unusual atmosphere for the Folkloristic Group “Wielkopolanie”. On March 31th, at the Zamek Culture Centre, once again a performance titled “MY MUSIC # 94 SYNTHESIS – Sound and Movement / Frame and Scene” took place, where dancers of “Wielkopolanie” could present their skills.

            Contrary to the previous performance, this time the concert took place with the participation of the audience, who had the opportunity to delve into the relationship between sound, image and movement. The performance was the result of a continuation of the issues raised at the 4th edition of the International Conference of Dalcroze Studies “The listening body in action”, which took place at the Music Academy of Karol Szymanowski in Katowice in 2019. Next to the discussion, the program also included music and art created especially for movement or inspired by body movement. In this year’s edition of the performance, viewers also had the opportunity to watch a film documenting the preparations and performances during the pandemic.

            Among all the performers, apart from the dancers of “Wielkopolanie”, the audience could see the artists of the Polish Dance Group “Wronki”,  the Bounce group, the YATEY Dance Group and dancers forming the “Selma Odon Ensamble”.
