On July 10, 2021, in the church of st. Jadwiga and Jakub the Apostle, violinist of the Folkloristic Group “Wielkopolanie”, Zuzanna Paprzycka married Patryk Powel.

Zuzanna has been involved in music from an early age. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznań, department of historical instruments. Apart from early music, which she deals with on a daily basis, folk music and culture have an important place in her life. From childhood, together with her mother, also a group violinist, she is associated with the Children’s Folk Group “Cepelia-Poznań”, where her love for Polish folklore flourished. For several years, he has also been teaching singing there. At the same time, he is also a violinist in “Wielkopolanie”. Cooperation with this group instilled in her a fascination with the musical culture of Greater Poland.

They have known Patryk for many years; already in high school they dreamed of performing early music together. The fruit of these dreams is their band – Lux Antiqua – specializing in professional performance of medieval and renaissance music. Patryk is also associated with folklore – he works as a musician with several folk groups.

The management of the team wishes the newlyweds a lot of happiness and, above all, perseverance in cultivating the beauty of folk culture.
