On November 9-10th, 2024, Folk Group “Wielkopolanie” once again participated in the jubilee, 20th edition of the National Polish Dance Competition “for the Shell of the Baltic Sea” in Malbork. Throughout the weekend, dancers from all over Poland competed on the dance floor to the rhythms of krakowiak, oberek, kujawiak, mazur and polka. At the opening of the official gala, they danced a polonaise and a waltz together, choreographed by Jarosław Wojciechowski.

Folk Group “Wielkopolanie” returned to Poznań with the highest awards:

• 1st place in category IIIC – Stanisław S. and Kinga O.
• 1st place in category IVB – Tymon W. and Adrianna K.
• 1st place in the VB category – Maksymilian K. and Maria K.
• 3rd place in category IIIC – Miłosz T. and Helena M.
• 5th place in category IIB – Zenon J. and Dominika D.
• semi-final in category IIIC – Tomasz B. and Zuzanna F.

The management of the group would like to thank the organizers of the National Polish Dance Competition “O Szlę Bałtyku” for the professional organization and wonderful atmosphere during the tournament.
