The last days of Carvinal - the "Podkoziołek" by "Wielkopolanie"

On February 28, Folk Group “Wielkopolanie” organized a party under the slogan “Museum Night”
This year’s „Podkoziołek”, celebrated in a museum atmosphere, combined folk tradition with the fascinating world of history and art. Podkoziołek is the last party before Lent and for years in Wielkopolska it has been a time of joy, dance and song. This time, the group’s artists celebrated it in a unique setting – among museum exhibits, which added a unique atmosphere to the event. During the party there was no shortage of exciting dance and skill competitions. The competition for the best costume aroused particular interest. To the delight of the entire group, the winner was the Manager of “Wielkopolanie”, Piotr Kulka, who captivated both the jury and the participants of the ball with his daring interpretation.
The Podkoziołek party proved that tradition can be a wonderful bridge connecting generations and transporting us back in time.
The management and artists of the Ensemble would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all participants for their presence, wonderful atmosphere and joint celebration of the Wielkopolska culture.
