Standing ovation!

On October 20th, at the Municipal Cultural Center in Raszków, a concert of the Folk Group “Wielkopolanie” took place as part of „Raszków Musical Meetings” organized by the „Raszków Singing Society”, which have become a permanent fixture in the cultural calendar of this city. Every year, unique music events take place there, during which the audience has the opportunity to discover various musical genres, immersing themselves in its unique sound and atmosphere. Unique performers appear on stage – both established stars and promising debutants who present unique interpretations of the genre. This rotation of genres and artists means that the event attracts new viewers every year and provides regular visitors with fresh musical experiences.

This year’s Meetings were held under the slogan “MARCH OF TRADITION” – tradition, i.e. a meeting with the artists of Folk Group “Wielkopolanie”. The concert program included dances and songs from the area of Krobia, Domachów and Dąbrówka Wielkopolska, dances from Łowicz, Beskid Śląski, eastern part of Kraków region and Krakowiak.

The artists delighted the Raszków audience, who rewarded the dancers and musicians of the band with thunderous applause and a standing ovation. Mayor Jacek Bartczak, who was present at the ceremony, thanked the organizers and guests for providing a beautiful experience and gave the guests folders of the Commune and the City of Raszków as a souvenir of their stay in the city.
