Month of May has expired Folk Group “Wielkopolanie” very intensively.
This time the dancers showed their artistry presenting dances of bygone eras.
For the youngest preschoolers and children from Wielkopolska region’s schools they presented dances of the Renaissance, Baroque and nineteenth century.
Poznan’s artists visited 31 institutions in Poznan, Lubon, Koscian, Przezmierowo, Buk. Ceradz Koscielny, Tarnowo Podgorne, Baranowo, Lusowo, Kazmierz and Szamotuly.
The dancers presented the gathered children, how the people danced at the courts and castles in France, Burgundy, England, Italy or in Poland.
Audience had an opportunity to see presented Pavana, Galliard, Menuet, Polonaise, Polka Galopka and many many others and listen to the ancient music played on a lyre.
