From 7^th – 28^th of April over 3000 of children could know the national dances. “Wielkopolanie” drove over 2000 km to show what is most beautiful in our culture. They performed in : Poznań, Chodzież, Murowana Goślina, Otorowo, Szamotuły, Dopiewo, Plewiska, Buk, Dakowy Suche, Granowo, Niechanów, Gniezno, Kobylnica, Swarzędz, Kórnik, Śrem, Czempiń, Trzcianka, Piła, Kościan, Czarnków, Sarbia, Śmieszków, Wronki and Nowa Wieś. Dancers presented polonez,mazur,karkowiak,oberek and kujawiak in the characteristic costumes for each dance. All the audience were in shock how people used to dress in the last centuries. Children had also occasion to dance with professional dancers. Nowadays “Wielkopolanie” are preparing for the May performances, one of the performances is the performancei n Teatr Polski where we will present our dances during day of the Librarian.
