On May 24th, a Family Festival was organized at the Social Welfare Home No. 1 in Poznań, which brought together residents, their families, and the local community. The festival was not only an opportunity to have fun, but also to integrate the residents of the Social Welfare Home with the local community. The families of the residents had the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones in a pleasant atmosphere, and neighbors from the area could get to know the facility’s activities better.

Local music and dance groups appeared on stage, including Folk Group “Wielkopolanie”, whose four age groups delighted the large audience. Almost 100 artists presented Greater Poland games and dances and songs from the Szamotuły and Lublin regions, as well as the folklore of Lachy Sądeckie.

For the youngest, the organizers prepared an animation zone with games and activities, as well as inflatables, which enjoyed great interest. Adults could take part in handicraft workshops and taste homemade pastries and regional delicacies available at the bazaar.

Folk Group „Wielkopolanie” management has been cooperating with the Social Welfare Home for many years, supporting numerous events organized for the residents of the institution with the work of artists. It is worth helping those most in need.
